Guts, how do you go about posting the pictures here? I see where it says "You can post attachments" at the bottom of the screen. However, what are the steps? LOL...I guess as a moderator I should know!

Oh...I think I see now where it says "If you wish to attach one or more files..." I'll play with it and see what happens.

Champagne click on edit in your post that you will see the body of your post that I dark blue line than filename and browse file comment then another dark blue line that has posted attachments then you'll have the option to delete file and then submit that should work for you.it looks as if you're JPEG was on the large size... 640x480 which is small, I use 800x600 which is also small, my pictures seem to come out about the right size. As you can see from my post. If they get too big. It will only take part of the picture as in your case. I am glad to see you posting pictures with your new camera. Hang in there. It's really is not as hard as it seems. Hope this helped. also as a moderator you can delete your whole post and do a lot more than just a regular member.

Guts, the picture's so big I can't see the usual icons for edit, delete, etc. in my post. :?: Also, I keep trying to delete it through my moderator functions and that's not working either.

Whew...I finally got rid of it! The picture was so huge I had to move it around to find the delete icon. Guess I need more practice! :?

champagne please don't get discouraged. I would love to see some of your meal creations you have such wonderful recipes. I'm sure they will look as good as they sound. It took me a little playing around when I first started posting pictures when you get the hang of it. It's like second nature, they say a picture's worth 1000 words, so please, please keep trying and don't give up. I will help you as much as I possibly can. And I'm sure some of the other members will too. At least you had enough guts to try it... Now get back on the horse and give it another shot. I'll be waiting to see the picture of your dog. Just a thought about your camera. You may be able to select the size of the JPEG there?

Guts, thanks so much. :) I'm definitely getting back on the horse and will let you know if I need help. I should say "when," not "if!"

I thought I'd revive this thread with tonight's dinner. had my grill plate up to 800°F on my jet burner/wok burner and grilled a piece of yellow fin tuna with salt and Jane's crazy lemon pepper. Had some white Rice with Rice wine vinegar and some canned corn with a small dollop of butter.

Guts, that looks great! I was playing around with the picture posting here this morning, and copying/pasting from photobucket seems to be working.

Pork Chop Verde

Image

Cut up and brown thin, boneless pork chops with a little salt and pepper. Stirred around a sliced onion and some minced garlic in the same pan and then put everything into a pot.

Into the pot went a can of Hatch diced green chilies, a diced up red pepper that I roasted yesterday, some comino, Mexican oregano, chicken stock and a bunch of La Victoria Mild Green Sauce because I didn't have any tomatillos.

Let it come to a boil and then simmered it until the pork was soft, but not falling apart.

Looks like someone else uses Corelle pie plates for dinner plates.

Tasted like New Mexico.

your pork Verde looks absolutely delicious I had a Mexican girlfriend way back when and she used to make something very similar. And I've been wanting to duplicate it but haven't had time. This is the inspiration for me. I'll have to go to the freezer and take out some pork which I have plenty of. And let me say I really enjoy seeing what the rest of you are eating for dinner but not limited to, maybe breakfast. Thanks for the help, reviving this thread.
