I'm here, I'm here! I guess no one has anything to say right now. Probably getting ready for Christmas or Hanukkah.

I'm here too. I check in everyday. Right now I can't spend too much time on the computer. I hurt my back some how and straightening up from sitting at the computer hurts. It's getting better and might be a good thing. I've had to curb my addiction to the computer.

I'm going to start baking cookies this weekend for gifts. Standing and walking around doesn't hurt. So I guess I'll be productive.

Happy Holidays to all!!!!

Here too, and busy too. Nothing too interesting in the kitchen lately. We had a "Trader Joes Thanksgiving" - turkey, gravy, sides, everything from TJ's except one home-made pecan pie with some bourbon added ad lib (Wild Turkey of course). Chris

Happy Holidays to everyone! I check every day here also, just to make certain that all the questions get answered, or we do our best to answer them!

It's such a busy time of the year, however, I'm glad to see so many chimed in here that all is well!

Love and Hugs !

Question to everyone who has posted on this thread . . .

I have not been receiving my e-mails to let me know someone has posted. Are you receiving your e-mails?

If I'm the only one not receiving e-mail updates, I need to write to Maria.

Thanks.

I immediately got a response that you had posted tonight! Which is why I came over here to let you know :)

Merry Merry!!!

Sure miss my So-Cal friends! We're having a pleasant December here in Puget Sound but no White Christmas for us this year!

XOXO to all.

hello everyone

Like most you. I've been busy working and working on my home putting a new heating and air-conditioning system in. Christmas is not a big deal in my home as I have no kids or family to speak of. But next year I'm going start baking again. I miss cookies and cakes and especially sticky buns O Yum. On February 14 of this year. I started the diet which basically consisted of counting calories as a way to those weight. I found eating smaller portions seem to do the trick. But most every night I had ice cream with some sort of topping hot fudge or strawberries or caramel. Right now I'm about 30-35 pounds lighter. and my New Year's resolution is to start eating again, which will include cookies and cakes and of course sticky buns O Yum. Did I say that again? LOL

I went into the hospital yesterday to do a procedure in which they shock my heart to get it back in rhythm/it was in a-fib and has been a little over a year. The meds did not work . So this was the next thing to try. It went pretty well. The doctor had to shock me twice to get my heart back in rhythm. I'll know Monday when we do an EKG to see if it worked. Right now I feel about like I did before the procedure is just hard to tell, unless I monitor my pulse which I do twice-daily with my blood pressure monitoring device.

So there's why I haven't posted in sometime but I do read the forum daily.
I'd like to say Merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah to all of you.
I'm not using caps but increase the font size so it's easier to read. My eyes aren't as good as a used to be

Well, Guts, it's good to hear from you. Glad you're moving forward with getting better, and congratulations on your weight loss. However did you do it INCLUDING nightly ice cream??!! 8)

Will you have all of us over for sticky buns and coffee? Can't wait.

Happy and Merry to everyone!!!! :D

Guts, I'd also like to say kudos on the weight loss, too. Take good care of yourself...we ALL like having you here! :D

Happy Happy Holidays to ALL!!! Maybe things will get busier here in January. Leni and I thought Melinda's scheduling change starting in January might possibly bring more activity to Let's Talk.
