Does anyone remember The Trails restaurant in Duarte? They served a creamy, spicy vegetable soup that I would like to duplicate. It may have had a mashed bean type of base. Can anyone help me figure out the ingredients? It would be much appreciated.

Becky, I sure do remember The Trails. My husband's family lived in nearby Bradbury, and we used to stop there for lunch occasionally. Unfortunately, I don't remember that soup. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Do you remember what veggies were in it? It was just cream-based with a spicy kick?
