I have made Ross's grilled onions twice now, once grilled and once baked in the oven. I'd like to post a couple pictures, because they came out REALLY good.

Can anyone tell me how to post pictures here? I so have no idea !!!!

I used to have a problem with it, too. Guts gave me some easy-to-follow instructions, but I kept running into problems which I'm sure was due to ME. I found a way that's easy for me, especially when it comes to sizing. I upload the pics to my photobucket album, then just copy them from there to here...easy-peasy with no resizing.

I'll also see if I can find Guts' instructions and bump them up for you. Maybe Ross can help if he sees this.

Thanks again for your help on this! I have been using Kodak Easyshare for years, but they are closing down and all our pictures will be sent by them automatically to Shutterfly in a few weeks.

So, in that light, I need to chose whether to go with Shutterfly, which I know nothing about, or try something like Photobucket, which I've heard quite a bit of good reviews on.

I'm concerned about the re-sizing, too... with the pixels, etc., but I really do want to figure a way to post pictures, here a few other places as well. About the only thing I'm good at is getting them loaded to Face Book... and that's a no brainer, LOL... you just push the FB button.

I just upload the pics from my desktop to photobucket, then copy them here. When I tried to do it other ways the sizing was waaaaay off. As I recall, Guts' instructions involved emailing the pics to yourself and you could choose from different sizes. However, I kept getting a error message about my email when I tried it that way...something about the yahoo server not existing...??? I've never had the problem when I upload them here from photobucket...the sizing is automatic.

I just put the photos on my desktop so I can find them easily without going through all photos in my photo section. When I'm done with them I throw them in the recycle bin. I just hit reply go down to the section says file name hit browse And select my file/picture then hit open and it puts it in their, then just hit submit. It takes me longer to write this and it does to put a picture in. And by the way the picture is of me last week and getting dirty working on my sailboat that's why haven't been around much. I'm trying hard to get it ready to put in the water for the first time. It's a Boston whaler harpoon 5.2 not many of these around as they only made these for a few years. Summers only five days away I better get busy this weekend. Talk to y'all later I hope this helps it really is quite easy.

Thanks, Guts! I'm going to try your photo upload method and Champagne's way today, as I am off work and will have time to play around. (New roof today so I need to stay home and make sure my cats don't freak out when they start pounding and throwing stuff off the roof, LOL).

Before I start, though, I better make sure I know how to take the pictures off here if I goof up! .

Guts, that was the first thing I tried but the sizing was enormous. Not sure what the problem was. I LOVE the picture of you in the boat...so nice to see you!!!

The first time I tried Gut's method, it told me the file was too big. So I tried making it smaller. See if it works this time!

It's still kinda BIG, LOL... but here is Ross's Grilled Onion, my version with the Swanson's Flavor Boost in the middle

Yay...it worked!!! I'm going to try that method again just to see if it will work now.

Okay...I tried to post this photo (my daughter's cupcakes) using Guts' instructions. It was so huge all I got was a big blur of the bottom of the cake stand. So, I just copied it from photobucket...

I want those cupcakes NOW !! LOL.... Great picture, Champagne.

I need to do another picture and see if I can remember just what I did. I know I emailed it to myself first, which gave me the opportunity to "size" the picture. Then I put it on my desktop. And uploaded from there.

Marlene, you uploaded from your desktop to here? Before photobucket I was emailing it to myself from my desktop. That's where I kept gettiing a roadblock. I can't upload straight from my desktop...that's where I get the HUGE photo problem.

I think ;-0..... I did it two ways and now I am so confused, LOL. Now I must retrace my steps a couple times this weekend, then I'll write it down for everyone.

I think I emailed it to myself, then sent it to my desktop, then clicked it open and resized it, then uploaded that link at let's talk.

Confusing day -- I had to stay home while they reroofed our house and it was like a war zone, which is why I had all that free time -- I was held hostage with the cats and birds for nearly 5 hours. Never stay home when they reroof your house. Never, LOL. I had 6 guys on the roof and I've never heard such commotion. It's done now and looks great.
