I have been making the green bean casserole for years and everyone loves it! Your caller should try using the frozen, "french cut" green beans. I buy them at Vons, Albertsons, and Major Market stores. You use the recipe as usual except that you use the french cut green beans. This lessens the strong green bean flavor you get when using a whole green bean, and the other ingredients blend together beautifully with the beans. I think you will be delightfully surprised just how good this casserole can be. Enjoy!!!!

Hello Dorothy, and welcome to Let's Talk.

Your suggestion sounds like a good one. Melinda rarely reads the posts here. She's usually busy with a ton of other stuff she needs to do, like preparing for her radio show(s).

I'm sure your suggestion will be appreciated by a lot of members here on Let's Talk.
