Listener called regarding her subject recipe and I was
wondering if you had determined how the recipe was
made. This was on broadcast approx. 2-3 weeks
ago. :D

Other than the base is 1/2 sour cream and 1/2 cream cheese no measurements were mentioned. I'd add sugar to taste and same for the grapes. She also said that she will sometimes add celery or nuts but didn't say what kind of nuts.

Sue, here is my recipe which I think might be what you are looking for. It is delicious and should be made a day or at least a few hours prior to serving:

GRAPE SALAD
(Can be cut in half)

4 Lbs Seedless grapes (red, green, or combination),
washed, dried, and removed from stems.
8 Oz Cream cheese, softened
1 Cup Sour cream
1/2 Cup Granulated sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 Cup Chopped walnuts or pecans, toasted or untoasted

Combine cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl and mix well. Add grapes and coat with mixture. Spread into a 9” x 13” pan or dish and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least a few hours before serving.

When preparing this, it might appear that there is not enough sauce to cover all the grapes but, believe me, there is.
