I don't know about the rest of you but it is too damn hot to use the kitchen these days. So how did my dear darling talk me into a dinner of potato salad, steamed broccoli, and breaded pork chops? Maybe because I have a huge fan blowing A/C into the kitchen?

Hi Lenni I had ice cream last night for dinner and tonight I may have gum LOL I hear what you're saying about the heat I've been using the barbecue and trying not to heat the house up. But with somethings just need the stove for. When I redid my air-conditioning system a few months back I added two new 6 x 14 air-conditioning ducts to my kitchen which worked out very well except for the floor gets cold and you almost have to wear slippers I say almost. It was one of the best additions I ever did to the house. Going to start my man cave Labor Day weekend.

It's been quite a while since I turned my oven on. Even with air conditioning I don't like to use it. Last night we just had burgers, corn and fruit.

Leni, I tried the microwave for the corn several days ago...didn't like it.

Tom didn't either. I'm going to use my crockpot today to make dinner but it is going to be outside on the patio.
