Another name we use in the Food News office to refer to Food News on Demand is “features.” These are short pieces containing a few select  items of information that you might find of interest. My concept of the content of Food News on Demand is almost never a recipe – but it might be a tip on how to prepare something – or a bit of history or folklore – an unusual product – almost anything within the world of food that might be informative, clever, new or useful.

Food News on Demand is broadcast 10 times each week, Monday through Friday. It airs at 9:27 each morning and 4:51 each afternoon. Every weekday feature is different, and KNX selects 5 from the week to repeat over the weekend.

Below, you will find a link to take you to a special “tab” on the CBS Los Angeles website. That link will reveal our CBS “Melinda Lee page” where podcasts of the features will be found, so you may click on the icon of your choice and  listen to one or another feature again, catch one you may have missed, or pick up a detail you need.

In addition, we will have “webisodes” for you to enjoy – I’m thinking of possibly writing a blog to appear there – and who-knows-what-else. It will be fun and loaded with interesting material.

Meanwhile, I hope you’ll tune in to the new features each day!
